SEEKING ANIMATION/MOTION DESIGN GENERALIST

(This position is part-time and remote)

Fort Atelier is seeking to grow our team to include a passionate and motivated animation/motion design generalist with a strong sense of design and desire to collaborate with others.

We are a small animation studio who is passionate about helping YouTube Creators level up their brand identity with animation and motion design.

Specifically, we’re looking for an individual who is proficient in After Effects and has a strong sense of graphic design, and can help bring animated life to static brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solving problems with a strong ability to conceptualize visuals for complex information.

• Being a universal designer that can create concept art, style frames, motion comps, and pre-viz elements.

• Taking your and your colleagues’ designs, illustrations, and keyframes and bringing them to life with sophisticated and varied motion techniques.

• Having a strong knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.

• The ability to execute high-end animation across numerous styles in a timely fashion.

• Possessing a drive to learn new techniques, trends, and styles.

• Being able to take feedback from peers and clients with grace and a good attitude.

• Being accountable, self motivated and showing initiative in developing your own designs and ideas.

REQUIREMENTS

• A mixed portfolio highlighting creative diversity in design and animation.

• Articulating design choices to team and clients.

• Broad knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Good design sensibilities and knowledge of trends and techniques.

• Open minded with a good attitude.

BONUS SKILLS

• Experience with 3D application (Maya, Blender, Cinema4d)
• Sketching/drawing
• Coding and expressions
• Video Editing
• YouTube Platform
